Black Rock

Park in the Blackrock carpark , but it will fill quickly on nice days , Parking is metered so get a ticket. Great spot when winds blow from the NE. Enter the water down the ramp and dive out under the pier take a heading west and cross the sand plains approx. 5 to 6 metres to the bottom of the reef at the point about 3 metres. STAY AWAY FROM THE CERBERUS WRECK. It has been deemed a dangerous wreck as it is collapsing and there are $5000 fines if caught within 50 metres it. Follow the reef around the point take your time as there is lots to see in the way of small invertebrates and small fish , exit up the western beach . Great site for a night dive as stingarees and sting rays come out from hiding to venture across the sand .
