St Leonards Pier

A great site when major winds are coming from the NW W and SW, We have had some fantastic dives here when the rest of the Bay is blown out. Park in the car park and walk down the beach and enter under the pier , you can always do a Giant Stride off the lower landing located on the northern side. Follow the pier out to the break wall and turn left around the break wall. There may be current here so make sure you have enough air to get you back. You can swim to the southern end of the breakwater and turn around and go back the way you came or enter the southern end of the boat harbour. Make sure you tow a dive flag as the harbour can get shallow and there is boat traffic in the warmer months. This is a great site for Seahorses Nudibranchs and other small fishes in the rocks of the break wall.

Underwater ,we are all the same…..
