Great shallow little dive, The paddle steamer Ozone and the Dominion were deliberately sunk to make an artificial reef in 1925. There is still quite a lot to see in the shallow 2 to 3 metres of water . Best dived on a high tide and a SW wind. Park in the small 4 car park or across the road. Walk across the sand and go straight out the paddle wheels, a lot of the mechanism can still be seen under water. There are 3 boilers that are home to small Sting rays and small fish. Head North West around the wreck and cruise over the Dominion, there are plenty of Little Stingrays and other small fish to be seen over this area. It is popular spot in summer with snorkelers so you may have to share the site.
