A nice dive if you have good air consumption and pony and you have looked at the weather to make sure it will not change during the dive. Start off at the Jetty road Car park and head down the ramp and out to the end of the break water. Take care and surface at the breakwater and take a heading to the last Rock wall before South Road Beach about 340 Degrees. There is boat traffic in and out of the harbour so make sure you tow a buoy with enough line to cope with the 8 metre depth in the middle of the bay. With an even pace it should take approximately 2 to 2 ½ hours and you should hear the trains rolling past every 20 to 30 minutes or so. It’s a great dive with major changes in topography from sand, Reef to weed patches.
